Courage, Valour, Patriotism and Truth
Tejas is a movie that is an all encompassing feature of all the above mentioned characteristics, let me assure you.
It takes an immense amount of Courage to pick up the remote, open Zee5 and click on Tejas.
The Valour it takes to stay through the first 10 mins of the childishly filmed cut scene before the titles begin is medal worthy.
When you hear dialogues like
“What do you see?”
“The runway”
“Look again?”
“The path to serve my nation”
And all this during the first flight training of a new intern, even the most patriotic person will feel the need to go out and take a breath of fresh air.
If you actually come back for more of this movie you will have to be considered for a Nobel Prize or something.
And finally, the truth.
The truth is that the movie flopped not because of nepotism or the entire Bollywood plotting against Kangu Didi. Within 30 mins into the movie you will know exactly why the movie did not survive at the box office.
Whether you survive after watching the full movie or not, is another question.
I switched it off within the first 30 mins when Kangu Didi started cackling like a wicked witch when her friend tells her about two timing.
So whatever is written here is strictly based on the first 30 mins of the movie.
DaMoRating: 9/10
Disclaimer: The 9/10 points are for me. Kangana is free to give her own ratings to her own movie the way she always does.
