Set in a sleepy valley of Uttarakhand, RkR is an investigative murder mystery
Unlike most thrillers this one actually moves at a very slow almost lazy pace giving you a feel of the rural landscape of Uttarakhand.
Once you get the hang of its pace the movie is a good watch.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played the part of an honest diligent cop well and seems to have shrugged off his incessant stereotyping which was pulling him down.
But frankly I somehow liked watching Rajesh Kumar aka Apna Rosesh Sarabhai. He has delivered a fantastic performance and suits the roll of a golu molu pahadi cop perfectly.
The movie does tend to drag at times owing to its slow pace but all said and done it is a decent watch with a fantastic twist in the end.
DaMoRating: 7/10
Disclaimer: New movies do not get 10/10. This is a movie rating and not a NEET Exam where 100% marks are given….okay?
